Post 03

Last Friday, May 16, my band played at Ardz. We were the third one to play and the stage was smaller than the last time we played there and we were like...yeah, packed sardines! The lights were really burning our skin and we were sweating a lot! I was disappointed most of the time because the drum set was so substandard. The snare wasn't bouncy enough and the cymabls didn't have the right sound, so did the hi-hat. It was plainly disappointing. We covered the smashing pumpkins' "mayonaise" & chevelle's "the red", aside from our three compositions. The audience was more alive than before although the applause wasn't that audible (how did that happen?)... Anyway, the experience was liberating enough. At least we got the opportunity to play there and to test our skills again. 4 of my friends (you know who you are...ok lang...at least pumunta kayo...) went but they lacked the money to go in, so what am I supposed to do about that? Hmph... At least, they still went...not inside though. Next Friday, May 23, we'll try to improve on the synchronicity and try to master the songs even more. And I'll just bring my friend's snare drum as well. Edwin came with his pornstar shirt which was kind of strange of him because he's just polite and quiet most of the time and that shirt was...contrasting, I guess.

The whole experience was ok. Nothing's perfect as they say.
