Wow.. I have reached 40 write-ups already. Cheers! I remember writing the first one back in the summer. I wrote about something subjectively similar to what I'll narrate later on. But there was obviously a big difference. I remember spilling all the angst. But now... I think I'll be calm for now. I have no place in my mind for sadness and angst as well. Not now. :)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone! :)
We have roughly 4 days to go til red and green colors colonize the whole place and Santa flirts with our moms again! :)

Coheed and Cambria's too darn cool... Argh.

And... the stereophonics as well. :)

Pati na rin si Frank...

Last Friday was... err.. nice. Ok lang. It was interesting at some parts. There was the mass... and Joseph fighting the grief. (We did what we could. I hope he's ok now.) The teachers danced, gyrated, jumped, you name it... whatever. Ms. Daria was.. cool. :) Haha! Ms. Lacerna.. Hmmm... You tell me. :) Ms. Enriquez.. Now that's what I'm talking about. Haha! Joke lang. :)
I also saw Saab. We talked for a while... before she and Cannu teased me about someone. Tapos may drummer what?!?! Argh. Sorry nadala ko snare ko ha. Didn't mean to solicit any reaction whatsoever. Haha! Speaking of someone, SOMEONE was acting pretty tense that night. Hmmmm... Siya si... basta! Clue: He frequents this site pretty often. :)
Bakit kaya????
Girls, please answer this: Why do you make us feel that way sometimes? Why?
Haha!
Uhh... onga pala, salamat Rael. Basta. At saka si Poch na rin. :)

Change topic...
Ok. Last Saturday (Dec. 20) was incredible. Incredible. Incredible. Not credible. (I know I am shallow. Please feel free to press Alt + F4 anytime if your sick of all this)
Wow! That night was just too perfect. Ang saya talaga. I felt like laughing and smiling and cringing simultaneously because I was so happy. Wow *echoing*! Me, happy? Pretty new stuff huh? Well... it was a very collosally surprisingly happy day (actually afternoon onwards). Let's just say my whole masterplan materialized quite well. What basically happened was that I left home at around 3 pm and borrowed King's driver for about two hours (ang sama ng traffic!) to go to her house and give her my gifts. I dropped by Megamall first to get her some chocolates (despite already having a bag of them already, which I wrapped myself) and some ice cream to go with it (??). So there... We patiently searched around Mandaluyong, sauntering thru the filth of the streets, looking for her house, which was... a bit hard. Well I managed. I arrived at around 4 pm. Her house was really...uhh... fairy-tale-like. Ha! It was vividly ornamental and all in all, it had this strong effect. There was china everywhere (I was told that her grandparents had kept all of them intact since the 50's). And the Christmas motif was.... overwhelmingly nice. It was awesome. Pang-pasaya talaga. I was even kind of... anticiapated. Two maids *scoffs* escorted me to the living room. Then I met her Dad again... then... she came down... I swear I saw this light surrounding her as she came down. Whoa... I think my mind kind of relapsed and to me, it was all in slow-motion. I was in a trance.
I was also a bit surprised that I wasn't shy at all. :) Neither was she. I also met her mom, uncle, grandparents, and the maids. Then they pretty much left us with some cake to eat and a chance to talk. I took lots of pictures. And I mean A LOT! (Yes, Rael, I survived with my irritatingly low-tech junk..err.. camera) We excanged gifts. She was very happy... She kept smiling and damn it, ang ganda niya 'pag ngumingiti. :) :) :)
The bowel at the CR had a flowery cushion on it. Fancy huh?
She also signed my sticks. :) "(Her name + that weird nickname of mine)
Pati notebook ko. Haha!
Then at around 7 pm, we ate dinner. Tapos.. hindi lang "dinner" 'to ha. It was a steak dinner for crying out loud. Wow. What is this? Surprise #.. uhhh... God, I lost count. Anyway, that, ladies and gentlemen/fags, was the first time I ate dinner with her. The funny thing was it all happened in her backyard. There was the table and the buffet table beside it. Ahhh... This is too much. Ang suwerte ko. Thank you.

After dinner, I conversed with her parents about a lot of things--- from my background, to how they courted each other back then (haha!), music, my college course, her college course, the house, family... basta ang dami! BUT.. It was nice to know that I got their permission to take her out to the graduation ball this March. Yes. *brings out a trumpet and blows a happy tune* :)
Then I interviewed her dad for the TD worker's interview for TD. Her parents looked really smart.
Then I played the guitar for her. (You guys cannot tag about this. Haha! I forbid... you! Wag na! Alam ko na yung mga sasabihin ninyo.. Argh.. Hehe) The "David Ong" inside me tempted me, "Beatles muna tayo kay Tita..." BUT... I obviously did not overdo it. I'm not like that. No offense. I played whatver I had in mind because I... wanted to.. uhh.. basta.
Ahhh... sarap ng steak with mashed potatoes and salad with vignarette ... and the corn. Tapos we ate banana cake. Dapat share kami pero... I was kind of dumb to finish it before she took a bite.. so.. Argh! Na-distract kasi ako ng dad niya eh! He kept on talking to me. Sayang.
Ok... so... before leaving, we took a bunch of pictures together and I gave her some more chocolates.. and she let me choose a picture of her which I could take home.
Then I left her place and smiled away.. :)
Wow. I just wana say thanks. Thanks. Thanks. Thank you. Merry Christmas to everyone as well.

I kind of had a hard time getting a cab to go to Eastwood to meet up with Paul. The jeeps had "Pinatubo and Kalentong" written all over them. Saan yun???!?! Haha! Nawala ako eh. But then a cab took me in despite the hassle caused by the traffic bound to happen.
By the time I arrived there, I circled the whole place looking for him around 4 times. :P
Anyway, I saw Bamboo perform. FYI, Bamboo is an alternative acid-jazz band headed by Bamboo himself, Nathan Azarcon, Ira Cruz, and their drummer. Ang galing nila. Parang Kapatid eh. Pero ang angas talaga ni Bamboo eh. Naalala ko tuloy ang Rivermaya.
I finally found Paul and the rest at the Walk Two. Paolo Santos was playing for free. He was pretty good. Duh. Ang galing eh. Kaya pala naging fad ang acoustic guitar-playing eh. Nyoy Volante has an abnormally good high-pitched voice.. as well as flair for the guitar. Si Jimmy Bondoc rin. Ang galing eh. They even did this blues jam.. :) Sayang I didn't get to see Nina. But so what? :)
I ordered a Moccha "prap" from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (Tama ba yun? Di kasi ako masyado lumalabas eh...). Wow. And to top it off, I saw Gino (*with zombiefied eyes* oh-wow! stig! oh-whoa! stig!) and his gang (THEY were actually very friendly: Jolo, Jaime, Benny.) But Gino... nevermind. Angas. Hehe. Ngiti na lang ulit. :)
I went around the place with Paul and enjoyed the fireworks. Ang ganda! Perfect hang-out actually. (and more: there happens to be a McDonald's there and a McCafe adjacent to it) :)
I went home at around midnight...... my eyes were drooping down the abyss.
Wow. So there you have it. That night was, all in all, a nice way to start the holiday season. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone again! :)
