This is the only 'head album I have of them but I guess I still have the license to generalize that they're really good. Ha. It's been said that 'The Bends' is the most underappreciated album at the time of its release. Reality as it is, you can't say people have been accepting the genre they've created... '94, right? The grunge hype was escalating so fast back then, Oasis just had to be isolated....and Radiohead, too. On the side, Oasis has a whole lot of better songs. I personally grew up listening to Morning Glory and the uber-guitar-distorted classic Oasis rock and roll... But then again, this record sort of stands on a solid ground between pop experimentation and the tradition of born-in-the-bone (brit) rock and maybe in time, parallel to the greats.
My top picks are in bold.
1. Planet Telex
2. Bends
3. High & Dry
4. Fake Plastic Trees
5. Bones
6. Nice Dream
7. Just
8. My Iron Lung
9. Bullet Proof...I Wish I Was
10. Black Star
11. Sulk
12. Street Spirit (Fade Out)

Pleasurebox will be playing at Vinzon's Hall (mispelled, i know) at UP Diliman tomorrow night. It's acoustic and I don't think there's an entrance fee.. so if you're not doing anything tonight, please watch...
Hmm.. what else. March, next week. Summer, right around the corner. Summer over, I'm a sophomore.
That fast.
