Last Friday, I went on to roadie for End Of March again. Great show! :D Delbert, kick-ass effects. The delay caught on pretty well, as always.. Fab, I couldn't hear the toms. Must be those mics. But all in all, it rocked! :D Keep the energy up.. Miah, you cow. Good rhythm.. :) Just sort of face the audience more, I guess. Berto, you shmaltzy boy. Hahaha.. Voice was amplified well. Let's just keep getting the exposure, you guys'll go far..

ONL=WOW!

Also got to watch Wake Up Your Seatmate that night. Reaaaaally good band... Their chemistry was impressive. And the 'bonggo beats' song reminded me of Alanis.. Hope to catch more of their shows :)

And to think you can get it on Amazon. More like..Cliche. Their set was flat-out the most mind-whipping I've ever witnessed. Band played pretty clean, alright. But the lyrics just suck so bad, you'd be getting goosebumps (not just a goose...geese!) all over. You just gotta consult a thesaurus to describe how amazingly bad it all is.

Lyrics of the song entitled "Stay" are as follows.

I believe
We shouldnt let the moment pass us by
Life's too short
We shouldnt wait for the water to run dry
Think about it
Cause we only have one shot at destiny
All im asking
Could it possibly be you and me?
So if you'd still go, i'll understand

(GUITARS W/ DISTORTION!!! ROCK!!! haha)

Would you give me something just to hold on to?
And if you'll stay, ill hold your hand
Cause im truly, madly, crazily in love with you
Time has come
For us to go our separate ways
God forbid
But my mind is going crazy today
I feel so cold
Feel so numb
Im having nightmares but im awake
Help me lord
Fight this loneliness
Take this pain away

So if you'd still go, i'll understand
(GUITARS W/ DISTORTION!!! ROCK!!! haha)

Saturday, not bad. Did my 6-page comm paper all daaaay...

Sunday was family day, extreme...It was great. :) I got to hang out with my slang, non-tagalog speakin' cousins from Canada again (Kristine brought home a white boy! haha... who used to play rugby, has been piloting planes, does indie filming, and pretty much mirrors Stone Cold! haha), my 80ISH grandparents who we sang to, my nephew Alfie Khong-Hun, who turned one (Happy Birthday!). Freaky kiddie party magician, surreal restaurant, very good food. :D

My lovely niece, Jynn, who made my day. :) This is her doing some sort of choke-slam on my Fil-Canadian nephew, Enrico. Hehe. Kids. . .
