Whoa-hoa i did nat know the follow-up was released already! Two months late.
Look at dat cover, man..................................................
Crisp...
We're all missing Glassjaw i know i know but Head isn't too bad. The voice of Daryl Palumbo is still alive n kicking in the latter, all thru a very new, upbeat and bright mix of melodies. Both bands, I think, just had this constant urge to experiment, hence the progression. I can imagine this noodle-like pit of wires and cables when they record and master their tracks. Heh. Dreams, man..
I've yet to hear what Popaganda sounds like and how it compares to Head's debut two years ago. I read this review of it about a second ago and it compared Head to the likes of Elvis Costello and The Attractions, both of which come from the 90s--pretty old already. It's nice to know a lot of bands nowadays take their styles from some very interesting roots. And when those roots derive from their roots and so on, it gets even more intriguing how music has evolved. Old stuff like The Beatles, The Carpenters, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Hendrix, Janis Joplin. These guys practically laid the foundation of the mainstream we hear today. We just got pretty techy over the yearrrs. Heh. A lot of bands started making their songs instead of just doing covers..
Anyways.
Anybadi got a copy of dis alboom..?
Ah onga pala. Si Recto.. hehe.
