post 11

This is me on the drums when I was about 2!

Ok...to begin with, my band's gig last Saturday at Ardz was a success! Ha! I can't believe we redeemed ourselves in just one night. We were the second band to play. Everything was functional except for the crash cymbal, which was just too stiff. But I guess we all managed. THANK YOU SA LAHAT NG PUMUNTA!! I felt...good. We did 4 songs, half of which were Smashing Pumpkins songs: Mayonaise & Drown !!! And our 2 compositions: Swollen & Snail, which we composed just hours ago. Everything was perfect...Yeah, even though Andrea Manzano didn't come, the whole gig compensated for the lack of female comany. Ha! Even& More, a famous underground band even decided to stick around to watch my band play! Famous na underground pa! Pff..enough stalling. Theyr'e my friends & classmates, who made this.......band. And I'm joining in as their drummer. I also want to do some voice role if possible....Aha!!

Yeah, I'm listening to Silverchair. Old but good.

Last Friday's CAT was like this forced-transformation-prerequisite. Sweat or die. Ok, the whole thing's considered to be normal because wer'e seniors and all, but I really find it unnecessary. There isn't a physical war or anything except for the one down south. Because indifference is the real war we should all wage against. I'm not lazy or anything. I'm just constantly finding a reason for everything I do. And CAT is apparently an old-fashioned way of instilling discipline, which can be a waste of time.

But the REAL event of the day, or even the week for that matter was Benjie's Brawl. Ahh...I feel nauseous.

I feel like this under-priced news reporter desperate for the next big thing to happen in school. Yeah, I'm bored, listening to Bossa Nova, and overloaded with all kinds of philosophies...from bumper sticker ones to Chip's small talk...
I'm surprised I'm not my usual frantic self today. In fact, I'm hyped and sleep-deprived..so, let me get some *drops on the floor again*.
