uY.. May yahoo groups na ang pleasurebox... haha.. 7 members lang kami..
Anyway... I just got back from camping last Sunday. I got a tan.. and I dunno if it looks good since I never really liked/understood all the hype about having it.. like King.. hehe.. Anyway, I'm recuperating from a slight fever due to exhaustion... Basically today, I'll be sleeping and writing and watching... you know.. slob-energy-level.. (except for the second one)
Ironically (again), the experience was really NICE. :) No joke.. I thought it'd suck 'cause I assumed the people there were too holy to have any fun. So... that's where I was totally wrong. Sobrang bait nilang lahat.. I couldn't ask for a nicer group.. Walang nagmumura.. Walang kupalan.. Walang inhibitions.. You can say it was the good side of society. I spent four days (from Thursday to Sunday) along with my two brothers in Camp Momarco in Tanay, Rizal with this youth group (YMPACT). Though there wasn't any signal (you'd have to trek the mountains where we rappelled to gain only ONE bar of signal for your phone...), it was one kick-ass camp. Grabe.. I'll miss the company.. SOBRA. ...kahit sobrang napagod ako.. It was really interesting and worth it. We went through rapelling, wall-climbing, and other muddy group drills. We were about 200 in the the camp and we were divided into about 10 groups I think. I was part of the Purple group... haha.. Purploids.. :) I was with RJ, Carmi, Monique, Amiel, Rhijean, Alex, Em, Jet, Leo, Arvin, and Louie. You guys (and girls) rocked! Hehe. So there. For four days, we cooked our own food.. which comprised of canned goods (sisig, corned beef, vienna sausage, etc.), pancit canton (loads of 'em), hotdogs, luncheon meat, bread, rice, eggs, etc.
Ok.. I remember arriving hours late for the camp and saw all the people looking at me like I was wearing some sort oversized "overshining" silver bling-bling.. Hehe.. I ate lunch and prepared my things in the tent.. Then.. I felt the heat. Ahhh... suffering. Haha.. Grabe. I had to get used to feeling dehydrated most of the time.. so we had to conserve our resources.
Anyway.. there was the usual talks about God which I had to listen to. I surprised myself a lot.. I was actually inspired to a degree. :)After that, we went wall-climbing.. I managed to climb until half the wall only.. Haha. Then, we went to confidence line. I had to walk on a rope with only a another rop tied on top of the tree to guide me.. labo ba? basta. It was.. fun. Then.. I went rappelling. Basta.. When you're up there.. nakakakaba! Swear... grabe... ang taas mo tapos ang lakas pa ng hangin... Argh.. Pero pag bumababa ka na.. ok lang.. basta, don't look down.
So.. the day ended quite quickly and I found myself cooking hotdogs for dinner and chatting with Monique a lot. I took a bath afterwards (sagwa ng CR.. grabe..) and I hung out with Monique, Rhij, and Alex in their tent.. It was quite hard understanding girl-talk.. grabe... parang puro oohhh and ahhh and ayy and hahaha... and grabe... and ahhh.. and aaayy.. and ah talaga... and onga eh.. and Oh god.. HAHAHA. But they were really nice.. Haay.. miss the company. I stayed there and had to give them bedtime stories (stuff like "the sarcastic lil frog" and "the naughty princess") since they all wanted it.. haay gulay.. :) After that.. I went to sleep but I couldn't since the tent was humid and hurting my back. Though it was already past midnight.. I went out of my tent to get some air. I sat on a cooler and accidentally eavesdropped on someone getting advice on his "lovelife." Haay... pati naman dito.. meron pang drama.. haaay... Nakakatawa lang.. I heard things like "Well.. you have to give her space because you can't get all the things you want." Hahaha.. and "I cried and I cried and I cried even more because of her.. and she doesn't care about the things I've been through.." and one last... "Pabayaan ko muna siya kung gusto niya ito.." Then I had to excuse myself and retire. It was a pretty full day. Haha.
I woke up at 5 am (5 hours of sleep..) and hung out with the girls who were eating junk food... hmm... tsk tsk.. bad eating habits.. but I ate anyway.. It was freezing outside. That Friday.. we played a lot of outdoor games and listened to more speakers.. The games were exhausting but really fun. We were all muddy..
After preparing corned beef and vienna sausages for dinner, I went to the woods to find a signal so that I could text her... Grabe.. ang dilim dun.. na-blairwitch ako... But at least I got to text. After that.. I went back and I went stargazing.. the sky was sooooooooooooooooooo nice! Grabe... it was clear and stars were all over the nightsky.. The breeze was even refreshing.. I felt like I was in a dome and the shiny holes in the sky meant another world or something.. It made me think about why I didn't appreciate it before.. I guess it wasn't as nice or as different.. It's not everyday I get to see this and divert my mind from reality... Haaaaaaay.. I was pretty much alone until I hung out with Mikha and Mikki.. these girls just crack me up.. hahahaha.. basta. I was even mistaken for a bodyguard.. :p
The next day.. I went through another game. I had to slide from tree to tree by means of a thick rope attached to the belts wrapped around me... labo ba? hehe.. basta.. ang saya. :) Then.. we prepared lunch... yakisoba lang... grabe. *hungry* After eating air, I prepared a skit for the entertainment night. My plan was to have these VJ's introduce 2 videos and dance when we were playing. I did the choreographing.. hahahaha! The first was "ako'y sayo" then our version of Outkast's "Heya"... and changed it to "Hey God" instead. Hahaha. I sang the whole time since the lead singer had a bad case of stage fright. So...... "Shake it like a polaroid picture..." baby! Hahahaha! We also had to wear costumes made from plants.. so I made a leaf-necklace. hehe. yun lang.
I slept really late after stargazing again.. :)
On our last Sunday.. we went trekking to the waterfalls. We spent an hour going there and slightly less than an hour going back. Most of time, it was uphill going there... a crazy 45 degree angle... hehe. Grabe.. but it was worth it. The place where we swam in was awesome.. Ang lamig.. Ang sarap mambasa ng mga babae dun.. hahahaha! May bawal na spot dun eh.. It was roughly 30 feet deep daw... yikee... Anyway.. I was teasing Mikha about her outfit.. She used her pj's for trekking... hahahahaha.. la lang.
All in all, it was a great camp. The only bad side was that I missed her sooooo much... Argh.. ang hirap pala..
