I spent the last four days last week in Nasugbu, Batangas where I camped with a lot of bible-wielding people. I enjoyed it for many many simple reasons. One, I had the chance to feel the current of the river...Grabe. I mean how often do you get to let the river literally move you down while you stare at light making its way through thick foliage..?? Man.. wish i had that in ma' yard... hehe. Second, the fact that I was far enough from the metropolis.. the traffic.. the morons who drive buses like a car (some sorf of offensive driving..). Third, I had more time to reflect. And last, all those interesting conversations with those interesting people. HA!
Quotable Quotes from some lovable peeps: (I will post more tomorrow)

Sir Gimo Pesigan (1945-2005), my literature teacher for a semester and a half passed aways due to lung cancer last Saturday morning.
Sir, we will all miss you for everything that you were and stood for.. Thank you for the boundless inspiration, the laughter, the poems and stories you've shared insight on, even the expert recommendation on where to buy the right dvd's, everything...
Rest in peace.

Yes! Finally... after almost 5 years of waiting.

The Datsuns. A bit dumb, but at least it's something new. They're this White Stripes-sounding band from New Zealand and their music is, well, a cross between led-zep-ish rock and raw garage rock and roll. Oooomph. Dig in.
