I got to ride his repainted toy a week back. The car is wack. You know what they say 'bout cars and how to-die-for the car seat's leather is and all that? I..um..actually felt more metal. Haha. But I swear, I wouldn't trade all the snazziness in the world for the company. It was some happiness, bro. Same gold-plated discman playin some weed-hittin afro visual. Same Baywatch-looking shades. Same fast-talking nonsense.

Same scent? I doubt it. (Naks naman..)

I'm sparing this space a lot of the details as to why my summer has been life-changing. But I will write till I writhe.

For one, Pleasurebox's recording has been great. Its mixing, mastering, and all the technical options made available to us to decorate have altered my perspective on the music. Being able to all this is inspiring and exciting. :D It gives me the drive to go on. Especially when the sore of the recent break-up kicks in (usually before I sleep and when I least expect it) I think of the degree of growth that's at stake if I choose to be ruled by all these emotions. It's all in the mind, I learned. The drama can seep in and you could feel the worst so far. I've had days and nights when I'd go nuts. No matter how fierce you wanna try understanding everything, you'd still feel as bad. So what I'm saying is I may have to be calm. I gotta breathe while I still can, right? I love God, my family, friends, and especially Jamie (you know that I will always do) but everything can't always the run the way you want it to run. *pause* I'm relying on what I can give. That's about it.

Okaaaay...back to the tracks. Basically, we will record as many songs as our money can push us through, and eventually compile and package and hopefully distribute the ep.

Ahhh... Kind of like giving birth, man. *tears tears* Hahaha.

I've been so grateful to have had the chance to record some serious digital drum tracks. It was all new for me, so I had a tough time arranging the beats. But with time, it all worked out. More to follow...

Fully Booked has really great reads. They tend to be damn pricey but que kalidad! Extensive array of genres, ranging from modern arts to dr. fucking phil (i just can't get myself to like how he looks!!!) to kurt cobain's depressed doodles to taoist gurus to great sex to personality improvement books.. the list goes on. Will buy something related to art/music management when the money comes. Soon, soon.

I miss going around the bookstore with Jamie. It just hit me. Sobra. *sigh* Jamie, if you're reading this, I just wanna let you know that I really miss you. I'm letting fate take its course. I'm going to do my part. I love you, you know that. :) You'll always be my bestfriend.
