First Impressions Of Earth by THE STROKES. Amen! :)

4:46 last friday all of us packed our respective instruments like we had a bout of diarrhea each-- so fast cos we didn't want to be late again and lose a chunk of "RESPONSIBILITY POINTS"-- some criteria for the battle of tha bands, huh? Hehe. Anyways. For what seemed like a hardly possible ETA to beat for that AC Fair, we were there on time, gracias a Marts.

A little past 540pm, we were onstage already and played three songs naked except for our neon green socks. Just Kidding. We all had so much fun that from time to time I forgot it was a competition. Naaaks.. Well, it is true. The dancing, stances, head-dropping, the audience singing to some if not all the songs... Amazing... You just gotta take a bath in it, you know. You can't just play to get it over with. None of that really makes you recall the show. So yeah it really was a great experience evidently even if we didn't win in the end. Sayang pero gangyan talaga. Friends came to watch and to me, I think that mattered the most, also as much as we felt nothing short of great. We were hugging backstage and wished we could rewind the show about 43 times. hehe

Later that night, we all just went walking around, watching the bands play and go. Up Dharma was great as usual. And man was it astounding how Frannie downed close to 2 dozens of bottled water that night. Haha.

I hardly remember all the happenings but that was a nice night for me.
