The only thing whoever that person behind that other person had to do was stop but that didn't..happen.
A bit late on the news but anyway I heard Wowowee's been cancelled since the tragedy two weeks ago. Sad stuff, really. I mean to think it looked every part of being righteous in handing doleouts and unmistakeably bragging the regular horde (parang ang dami talaga eh..) of Pinoy immigrants screaming "Hello! Hi! I'm from California!" during the show and so on..It just tried to be the best show it could possibly be (even if Willie wasn't funny at all). What happened at the Ultra a few weeks ago almost seemed to follow that time not too long ago when that horny elephant went nuts and began a commotion. It was its time but again, it happened in Cubao! Something is craptastic about that city! haha But the stamepede was something else--120+ folks crushed. They only wanted a few moments of happiness. Some say the demise had a lot to do with greed and the police taking too much of a siesta and and so on but I really think mass poverty and mass stupidity set the stage for everything to domino down to such a turbulent headline on every newspaper the day after. If people weren't too poor, Wowowee wouldn't go on and be one of if not the most popular noon time shows. Now it's all over and people would blame almost everything they can see. But it's really crap to spotlight the individual when there's a bigger crisis that's hovering over us. Naaakha ng!
Anyways. Sad stuff may lead for new doors to open though. At least we can't expect the Lopez's to expect everyone to yield to their interests. YEAH! Some people say ABS-CBN should just close the hell down and revamp the industry altogether, like subtract novelty by 85% haha.. It might save us all..?
